If this is true, its like winning lottery after thinking we all to be lockdown for months on end, surely the guardian would not publish this without finding out its correct
just one question, how will you prove you've had it, then you can move about, what if you come up as not having it and some people say they have to get back to normality quicker?
If anything sounds too good to be true .... For those who wont go near the Daily Mail the article was in the FT this morning https://www.ft.com/content/5ff6469a-6dd8-11ea-89df-41bea055720b I dont have any faith in it and the idea that half the UK could have it but only a tiny percentage show symptoms isnt supported by testing elsewhere - you only have to look at a cruise ship like the Diamond Princess to see that its not even close
Let's not get too ahead of ourselves....the numbers of kits coming in will not be enough to test everyone for some time, bearing in mind of course those who haven't had Covid will need regular testing.
The only caveat I'd have is that they have tested people with heavily displayed symptoms and the test has come back negative. Only for a further test to be positive. Deputy PM of Spain is a recent example.
I’m hoping it will be like a blood sugar test, in that the device is a single purchase, with disposable tabs that actually come into contact with the blood. Buy it once, test yourself and your family as many times as you want, providing you have enough tabs
True, but that fact we could possibly spot check NHS staff and other key workers us a big deal. Fingers crossed.
Trouble is whats to stop Peter Pillock and Shirley Selfish breaking the curfew and lying that theyve tested clear?
