Greggs. Good Afternoon, We’ve been doing everything we can to keep our shops open and everyone safe but it has become clear that to help us all maintain social distance we need to go further and close all of our shops completely. So, we have made the difficult decision to close all of our shops on Tuesday 24th March.
All main car dealers in Lincoln have announced they will be shut by Wednesday. One of them has declared they are shutting for 3 months.
Is that for sales or repair- I would have thought that car repairs are a fairly essential service to keep going - car sales less so
Can still to pop to Iceland and get all their Greggs range from their freezers. Think i've still got a two pack of their festive bakes in the freezer that's got a few months left on the use by date yet
Both, you will see it all over the country in different levels. I deal with 3 companies who supply labour to over 1500 dealerships nationwide between them and they have all announced they are withdrawing labour due to sites shutting down. There is bound to be some who will hold on but majority will be shut with Wednesday their last day.
I don't think any of these shops should give advance warning of closures. It just provokes huge queues. Just shut the doors, suddenly and without warning.
Maybe I should announce that I'm closing my picture framing business for 6 months. I'd love a queue to our house consisting of panic buying picture frame desperados.
