    But we got to celebrate the next game and had the celebration in town etc. There'd be none of that. Would be so flat.

    The amount of Covid-19 infections in the UK right now is the lowest it's going to be for a very, very long time. Unless we go into total lock down like China which means there's no football anyway and a return to Covid-19 as soon as lock down is lifted. The only way you're going to see a game from either this season or next is if the current strategy is lifted. If it's not you may never see a game of football again.

    This is true.

    Again this is true. I was only referring to the initial elation and how different it felt to being promoted when we are actually in the ground willing the final whistle to be blown.

    But after the 30th of june players and managers contracts expire so that's a spanner in that for a start.

    Yes I know that, I was just replying to your post that you were assuming the season will finish by end of June. You forgot about the 'extra' games not me

    I was just saying if the season starts again on the 30th of april(which I dont think it will) I think they could fit the remaining 9 games in. I realise it would be a big ask and many clubs would have to use 2nd team players etc but it would be do able.
