So our next game is Brentford away? (Doubt we'd even be ready to return on that date either)

Just wondering what happens, lets say we are in a position where the season can resume on May 2nd, would we play Brentford or start with QPR and push the whole games back in the order they were intended?

I can only see that the season is now done.
    So what happens next?
Clubs at the top of the division insist that’s where we all finish and thus they get promoted - clubs in the relegation zone say no - the season has to become null and void.
There is then a power struggle - the clubs at the top who have forked out millions win the argument like they have done with avoiding the fair play rules.
Barnsley then take the football league to court.

Laughable to see the statement WlLL complete season.Surely theres got to be a point where someone says thats enough we are not going to ruin another season.Thats if it is ok to play in time for next season.

Who knows maybe it will go on so long into next season just finishing this one off might be the better option. I think keeping all options open is the most sensible approach.

I'd be surprised if there are games played before July.

The only tiny crumb of comfort in this whole **** show is that the season is either declared null and void or declared completed with no relegation. Please don't take that scrap of hope away as well.

    My thoughts are
    1. We deserve to be relegated I'm afraid to say. There is only the remote chance that there would be a significant upturn for us to stay up.
    2. I think the places should be calculated on a statistical model. I know it won't be perfect.
    3. I EXPECT THE FA/ EFL TO APOLOGISE FOR THE S..TSHOW OF 1919 AND FOR ARSENAL TO RECOMPENSE US THE PRINCELY SUM OF £6 MILL.

They'll play out the remaining games, only option that won't get the FA sued.

Why will the F.A get sued they not the cause of this. There will come a point when a difficult decision has to be made for the future competitions not the present.

Money before health and fans. Clubs don't care about us as much as they do about their precious tv deal. We aren't the heartbeat of the game to them, Sky is.

It's disgusting if they play behind closed doors just to get it done. It's the worst crisis for 75 years that the world has faced and it will be put in the curriculum for History lessons to teach future generations about who haven't been born yet.

But as long as games are completed by any means necessary to keep Sky happy before their subscribers drop due to lack of love sport, hey ho.

    Basically that.

It doesn't matter about the hundreds of thousands of pensioners who are predicted to die.

As long as Sky can show whether the red team or the blue team are best at kicking the ball, nothing else matters.

Put the old people in their graves, and then it's Bournemouth against Watford - LIVE!

Makes me fall out of love with the game even more than I have.

Clubs will sue the authorities (FA, SFA, UEFA...) if the season isnt finished, hasn't the Hearts chairman already said this?

    Edit. Just found it

They will argue behind closed doors is fine. But if our health is compromised enough to ban us from attending, the health of the players, backroom staff etc will be at risk too. They don't automatically become risk free just from us being told to stay away which won't work anyway as big crowds will turn up at the ground like has happened abroad.

No hearts have said they will sue if they are relegated.

She said she will consider it.
Personally I don’t believe cancelling the season would result in a successful case for anyone to sue.

So the season will have to be completed, if its stops now and these are the final positions, relegated clubs, play off clubs will sue - if they call it nil and void Liverpool, Leeds etc will be going down the legal route.

I think Leeds will have a very big case, especially with the money involved.
