The other thing that could have an effect is how quick the players get upto speed.
It’s not inconceivable that players will come back not match fit.
If we can hit the ground running it could stand us in good stead.

I'm hoping this was way down the news stories. Couldn't care less how they end the season, praying the country doesnt end up like Italy or Spain.

Probably not but it seems the fairest way to all.

Right euros postponed for a year.By the look of things most people want to finish this season (not me) even if it goes on for months. The way things are looking and what we are hearing we might be playing these games in august september or even later just for the so called integrity of the game. What then happens next year, cancel the euros again.Fair enough if we get chance to completing matches in time to start next season on time then ok,but its sounding very unlikely. But at the moment it is impossible to predict the outcome.

Having watched on Sky News tonight the projections about how the virus could keep coming back in waves, and how we could have multiple short lockdowns throughout the whole of the next year to flatten it out again and again, it is entirely conceivable that there won't be a full season in 20/21 either.

Our whole way of life has fundamentally changed now for some considerable time.
