Morning Gents, Just a quick thread to lighten the mood, I would like to know your top 5 favourite reds games over the past twenty years. Simply, to reminisce and talk about the good times we have had over the years. The games I have chosen are for different reasons of magnitude, however I think you all would agree there has been some absolute crackers.. In no particular order Peterborough (a) 2019 Leeds (h) 2017 Millwall (w) 2016 Walsall (h) Play Off Final 1st Leg Walsall (a) 2019 Your turn..
Playoff Final, 2006 was possibly the peak for me. Huddersfield away, 2013 Playoff final 2016 Walsall in playoffs, home, 2016 Chelsea, home fa cup Also enjoyed beating Leeds around christmas 4-1. Opening day win vs Oxford last year was good fun too, setting the stage for a great season.
Millwall at Wembley 2016; Oxford at Wembley 2016; Liverpool away 2008; Chelsea home 2008; Leeds home 2010. Top season: 2018/19 automatic promotion. Top player: Conor Hourihane.
Birmingham away 2012/13 (won 5-0) Millwall at Wembley 2015/16 Wednesday away 2008/09 Chelsea at home 2007/08 Wigan away 2015/16
Bradford City when we won promotion to Prem Oxford at Wembley when we won the only trophy I've seen in my lifetime Liverpool away in the FA Cup 2-1 Man United at home 3-2 in the Cup Sheff United 1-0 away in promotion season.
Oops just reread OP. Forget promotion season and Man U cup, replace with Leeds 5-2. Vaz Te hat trick Chelsea in FA Cup Leeds. Connors last game
Note to self. Don't read these posts because they bring the Liverpool away fiasco back into your thoughts.
