I watched Halifax Vs Ebbsfleet in the national league. and then at 10:30 pm watched last weeks MoTD as I missed it last week. Also if you all do get withdrawal symptoms Quest have an on demand programme and its got all the EFL programmes on it.

I went to Dulwich Hamlets vs. Hemel Hempstead and visited Brick Brewery before the game.

Crowd of over 2,000 and a 2-1 win for Dulwich after going behind. Huge three points for them. No future Ethan Pinnocks in the side though.

Terrible. Day out with a friend. Helped her do shopping then a Chinese eat as much as you want buffet.
Came nowhere near the delights of Greenock I would have experienced.

Dorking v Havant. came from 1 nil down to score the winner with the last kick of the game, about 300 from Havant in a crowd of around 1000. Visited the chippy beforehand!

How many dogs were at dulwich?

It was strange having no live games, but in a way no different to how I " cope" during the close season.
I have got Sky Go on my iPad, so I was able to look at the highlights from selected Premiership games that were on that site. For a little nostalgia, I also looked at the highlights of our two visits to Oakwell South against Oxford United and Millwall. Happy days.

Just shows you how things change in football. Mores the pity, not one of the players from those
two games are still at our Club.

Rest of the afternoon was spent looking up some familiar sites in and around Doncaster. I used to work at the Works Department ,Scarborough House on Chequer Road. It's now been flattened and is a car park and grassed area.

Next door to the office was our church, St Peter in Chains RC. Never forget looking out of the window in September 1973 and spotting none other than Kevin Keegan tying the knot with his then fiancée Jean. He had just been banned for fighting with Bremner at Wembley.

Until reading his bio, I never realised that Tyson Fury and his wife Paris, were married at that same church when they lived in Doncaster in 2009. He could well have been one of the " pikeys" burning the plastic sheathing off the copper cable on the Black Bank caravan site. Bane of the Council officers lives them lads.

Too many dogs. I saw at least 15 but the highlight was the ‘Tudor Army’ which consisted of around ten Hemel fans wearing bright green attire, acting like it was their only time of the week away from their carer. Fun to watch though

    slightly O/T
with this enforced football shutdown will we get out of the habit of going down to Oakwell - realise that there are other enjoyable things to do on a Saturday afternoon?

I got some outdoor DIY jobs done and took the dog for an extra walk leaving today free for other things. I honestly did not miss football all.

How busy was it compared to what you’d expect if everything was hunkydory?

Was a fair bit quieter, but still a good night. We all know venues & events are going to be stopped, but for right or wrong wanted to carry on while we can. It's our livelihood & we are going to carry on till the Government says otherwise.

Aye and this summer is almost certainly going to be football free too. My to do list is going to be fully completed.
