    I don't know your financial situation, but if I was in your situation I'd be on the first plane back. I would have been a few days ago. Not worth risking being stuck out there with no hotel etc.

    the govt's of the world should take total control of travel WORLWIDE. Only really essential travel on land, sea or air to be allowed.

    Must admit if I had a holiday booked there at the minute I dont think I would go - be mighty annoyed that there isnt any way to get the dosh back but thats preferable to the alternative of still going.

    Still it seems bizarre for the spanish to close all the bars and restaurants but still allow tourists to come flooding in

    Yes I know, her husband died last year she hasn't been abroad for 30 years and she's going with friends just typical this virus is flying around. I've told her all the facts and there ringing travel company in the morning.Think some people just don't grasp what's going on and find it hard to believe they can catch the virus.

    So is it all "shut down" then as gossip suggests?. This part of Spain is not under the foreign and commonwealth office's not to go to areas (as of yet)
    Edit# seen a couple of posts from people there I know saying it's "shutting down" tonight.
