Not one single positive in that game other than Brad Collins looked OK. Nothing he could do about the 2 goals Then again, on reflection he gave away a clear penalty that was not given. Depressing viewing that one!!
He could have raced out to Peterson for the second instead of backing off and giving him time, however, where was the defence.
Yes, sad to say I agree. I know mathematics tells us there is still hope, but we can see it in front of us, that overall we just aren't good enough. Nearly 2 years ago to the day, we played Millwall at home on a snowy Saturday with Morais in charge, lost 2-0. Similar performance and a similar game to today, our opponents were poor, we were much worse. We looked every bit a relegation side then, and we do again today. That was this seasons Millwall performance.
Today reminded me so much of that Millwall performance. There were so many similarities and I now have no doubt that the conclusion of the season will be the same.
