    It was great fun, we decorated the library and my colleague was the Mad Hatter. The kids loved it.

    I've only seen the film but it is a sad story (John Thaw is great in that too @JLWBigLil ). They were doing World War II as a topic.

    I made it all out of a LOT of tulle, most of a pack of cards and some glittery foam.

    Edit: I bought the gold crown from hobby craft and decorated it.

    Give yourself a gold star then because that looks really professional. I'd have had no idea it wasn't bought if it wasn't you wearing it but knowing how much you like doing things for yourself I had to ask.

    Aw, thanks! It is fun making something as you know it's unique and it's generally always much cheaper (especially as materials can be used for multiple things). Did I post my Mary Poppins one last year?
