    Yep Stones does get in a tangle with his feet but what about the 2 v 1 from the cross. Both city players are ball watching and give the Villa lad a free header, for me worse than Stones.

    Well for a start they probably didn’t expect the Villa player to get so much space and time, yes it was poor defending all round but Stones started it.
    Jeez what is that because they’re from Barnsley you aren’t allowed to point out an error?
    Fact is for the player he is supposed to be he does make more than his share of errors

    If Andersen had done that he would have got dogs abuse on here. He dropped a bollock which led to a goal. Hes done it many times before and needs to stop doing it for the sake of his international career.

    Just another thing to hate football for in my opinion. Former players being paid silly amounts of money to drag down existing players. Seems to be a trend to have a go at Stones, with Jordan Pickford the latest in the firing line. These players didn't get to where they are by being crap. Yet it's ok to continually hound them, whilst at the same time bemoaning that England never win trophies. I'm not saying players should never be criticised, but there's a point at which it becomes a witch-hunt, potentially harmful to not only the player's career, but also their well being.

    It was a mistake, hes not fully match sharp yet but as always seems to be the case a Stones mistake leads to a goal. He needs games.
