He is certainly composed when he's on the ball. Might be good to bring him back into the side from the start.
Yes, especially when Struber is pointing to a lack of energy in the side as the main reason for today’s performance. Both Chaplin and Brown looked of it today. With Dougall in we could possibly have moved Mowatt up, pushed Woodrow to the front and rested one of them
Look around you. If there's someone in the same room you're not alone. As far as Dougall goes I don't think he's any better than what's already on the pitch
I’ve only ever seen Dougall have one bad game, I can’t work out why Struber doesn’t rate him. It goes against all logic to play your most creative player as a deep lying midfielder whilst Dougall sits on the bench. But then again we’d won 3 in a row before today so maybe I’m wrong
Am still not sure about Ritz. Bahre, like Brown Woodrow and Chaplin have many an off day too. Dougall for me hasn't the busy bee passing ability that gets us up front so quickly, and allows us to **** up so many goal attempts.
Maybe he is, maybe he isnt but when hes one of the few players who are fully rested and fresh it seems strange that he wouldnt be involved after the quick succession of games wev had.
Dougall is still our best defensive midfielder in my opinion, its the other midfield spots that arent good enough really. We still insist on playing with a CAM but we dont have a proper one (woodrow isnt a CAM).
Results suggest that Bahre, Mowatt and Thomas should be first choice midfield, with Woodrow just ahead of them
Ritz not looked in his performances really any better than what we already have at the club ie Dougall. At the minute we don't have a midfielder who could hit a barn door if they were sat on the latch!! Yesterdays finishing was embarrassing, just hoping after a weeks recovery we can do some work on hitting the target and striking the ball early not trying to walk it into the net.
Can’t pass, can’t tackle, can’t shoot, never scores goals or assists. Apart from that he’s just what we need.
