I get that he was making mistakes and costing us dearly but a lot of fans are pointing him out regularly and it’s bullying. How would he feel reading these comments.. let’s hope he trains hard learns and comes back with a bang. Only reason why these cb fit is because one is experienced and other one as had championship appearances under his belt. However let’s keep this up and make it a lesson learnt for the gaffer and the Owners. We can stay up.
Special mention to ludewig, brilliant all over. I said when he signed I was happy as it’s a loan. They wouldn’t only loan us if they thought he wasn’t good enough.

brilliant support from boro. Always had time for them rather than the other two neighbours. Hope they revive aslong as we do too ;)?

I don't feel for him. He's a very well paid professional footballer who hasn't done well for us this season. He may get better and I hope he does. I know he's tried his best but that's sport, if your best isn't good enough it will show up.

I get that 100 percent. Pointing out he’s not good enough yet is okay and an opinion but when people on social media are saying “no mads more wins” trying to trend it is a different scenario

How is it bullying? This is an independent football fans forum, where fans are talking amongst themselves.

Decent support in numbers but not in backing.

Yeah fair enough. I agree. Anyone who directly attacks a footballer on social media for having a bad game, is a bellend.

I don't feel for him either. He was out of his depth and had more than enough chances considering the vast amount of mistakes he has made this season. He might come good but it isn't a coincidence we look way better at the back without him.

Yeah fair enough no need for that especially on club posts that he will likely read.

His overall play has been solid and there's much in his game that is good. Unfortunately making errors that cost games on a semi regular basis has proven costly. He's not been the only one mind you.

Maybe a bit of time out of the firing line will be what he needs. I'm sure the pressure must have been building up on him.

I think Strubers handled the situation well.Took him out of the firing line spoke to him to lift his confidence and assured him he's part of the team and has a future here.

I don't feel sorry for him Inca lot of respects. I don't like him (as a footballer) and will regularly say so. But @Jordym93 has a point that if people are deliberately tweeting our players and referencing him that's out of order. Especially if the reference is an attempt at creating a negative hashtag trend thing out of him.

I always use the theory that if a player actively seeks out the BBS to read people's opinions of him then he's only got himself to blame if he doesn't like what he reads. If a player is searching for his name on for example twitter and he doesn't like what he finds then again him to blame. However if he simply logs on to twitter and finds tweets aimed AT his account or at his friends and teammates accounts slagging him off then that's bang out of order.

It's like if we're all in a pub. If I'm telling my mate that Andersen is **** and he doesn't hear it it's fair play. If Andersen deliberately seeks us out and stands behind us trying to listen to us that's his fault. If we see him at the other side of the bar and we go over to him and tell him he's **** then we are out of order completely.

I'm not so sure. He left him in far far too long, selected him ahead of other players week after week and not only that but adopted tactics that were asking him to do something he wasn't capable of doing.
He then publicly criticised him and instead of simply dropping him to the bench he has dropped him from the squad completely.

You say bullying but a player who got the most stick I've seen for years and he was part of a promotion team and cost us far less points than Anderson was cavare, bet he was glad to get away from oakwell time for new scapegoats

Criticism at the game comes with the territory but yes I agree that keyboard warriors insulting him directly on social media is out of order.

Might be a nice lad and all that but he’s terrible at his job on the showing so far.

As I said after Fulham it isn’t a coincidence that again we’ve earned a second clean sheet in as many games without him in the side.

Whilst it’s all hypothetical, there was a moment in today’s game where Sollbauer our strengthened Fletcher in front of the ponty, where Anderson has proved a few times this season he’d get brushed aside and we’ll go one down. We’re a better team without him in the side. (I don’t think I’m a bully saying this)
