At Westminster Abbey? Seems appropriate big bells for a massive bell end!

They’re not protesting about ringing the bell, they’re protesting that it’s not around his neck to warn parents of his approach!

Isn't it about time we moved away from these deferential rituals for all the "royal" family. They are a throw back to a much less enlightened age. They are humans no more or less unimportant than the rest of us.

I'm not anti royal in the slightest, would I go into Town if there was a royal visit, no, it doesnt tickle my balls, people saying abolish the royal family ( each to there own) If they were to be abolished what would happen to them ? By being born into the family ( they didnt choose at time of conception who their parents are going to be ) and the threat towards them what should happen? Where would they go ? btw this isnt a dig I'm just wondering if the " abolish the monarchy lot" have thought further than just " let's get rid", oh and I dont think the bells should be rung for Andrew, an odious man, who was detested by many in the RN, plus the connections he as to that Epstein bloke ( yes I know you cant be guilty by association)

Not *just* Epstein. Rumours of him "holidaying" with another accused of underage sex.

I can't see why the Royal family couldn't have a similar role to the royal family in Sweden, Holland or other European countries - purely ceremonial and for the tourists.

Not having a royal family does not seem to have done the French tourist industry much harm. Without a royal family Buck House could be open 365 days a year. I do not buy the "they do wonders for the tourist industry" argument. They are people no more or less than the rest of us.
