To be fair, the majority of fans will have made travel and/or accommodation arrangements ages ago. Long before it was realised the club have given up.
We had trains and hotel booked months ago , cancelled other week though .. Good luck to the ones who are going
To all of you going tomorrow, safe journeys and you have my utmost respect. I'm up in North Yorkshire with the family for the weekend. I won't let tomorrow's likely thrashing ruin my weekend!
Phenomenal. We have to have best away support proportionate to league position and home crowd in Britain.
1300 lambs to the slaughter. Fair play! Seems like a fooking nuts decision to me but there you go! Just hope this low quality team can rise well above their usual performance levels and not embarrass themselves for those supporters.
We do seem to be enjoying a good period for away followings currently, certainly compared to say the 2009-2013 period where we had a huge drop off in away support. I remember being in a couple of sub 500 away crowds at Leicester and Middlesbrough and this was when the team was doing ok. It does show the potential for support if we could maintain some success. My nomination for best away support versus home attendance and club standing would be Grimsby Town. Their away support is phenomenal.
Us of course lol. No I cannot tell a lie I fully expected us to get mullered. Delighted to be so wrong. Again.
