Just read Peter Crouch's book, "How to be a footballer". (Highly recommend it). He recalls a evening when at Liverpool ,that Carra took him to a well known pub,for a few drinks with supporters and Karaoke. It worked wonders for PC. Danny Wilson often took the players out the night before games. In light of this, I think the players should go out with each other a bit more, accept relegation and try to enjoy the rest of of the season, whatever happens. Wouldn't it be beneficial to have a drink in No7 or Garrison, with supporters?. All the sport science, video review, tactics have reduced our team to fearful unconfident men. I think Cauley should start it this Friday, what's to lose? Morale is low in the squad due to results. It would be nice for the players to enjoy what they do for a change.
I'm not sure Danny Wilson made a habit of it, he just did it the one time to try and get them to relax a bit before a big match!
