I’d love to go if it could be arranged. It’s time they faced the supporters and gave us answers. I don’t want Dane showing up, he’s just the owners puppet, we need the actual owners and we need the truth. ******* sick of the ******** that this club is serving up.

Sell up to who? Who wants to buy Barnsley if not to try and make money?

We’d just end up with much of the same.

genuinely don't know what people are hoping for.
nailed it. i think people need to accept this reality. this person with money and barnsley fc in their best interest - literally doesn't exist. it's one or the other - someone with cash and self interest, or someone who loves the club but no money to take the club where people expect.

just look at the make up of the championship. dominated by city and london-based clubs. we just can't consistently compete with that any more. my personal view is that we're no longer a legitimate championship-level club. if we do have the odd successful season, it will likely be the exception, not the rule

i would take a happy club at lower levels. every day of the week. f.cuk the premier league.

Protesting, the youngsters today don't know the meaning of the word protesting. Standing on a dustbin at Marine, shouting through the away teams dressing room window, now that was protesting:)

What about the sheff Uniteds? Burnley’s? Even PNE? It’s some supporters narrow minded attitudes that keep us being just little ole Barnsley sadly for me. I get what your saying but it’s not for me, not at all.

Yes we are proper w@nk this season but the blame squarely lies with the owners ridiculous transfer dealings for me when it needn’t have happened and we could’ve probably stayed up by keeping contracted defenders and adding just a couple then built from there.

I can’t stand watching lower league pish personally as obviously, the football is usually much worse.

With this reality we may as well bulldoze oakwell and chalk fook to it really.

They certainly did Helen but it took them a long time to win their battle. If there had been complete solidarity amongst the fan base I believe they would have achieved their objective a lot sooner.

Another example is Charlton. Their owner has been even more silent than ours. Despite all the protests, even going to his house in Belgium, the club survived. Then a bit if success on the field and the fans have returned in numbers.

He sold the club. They're now under new ownership.
