I'm pretty sure either party will have the option to terminate the agreement should we be relegated. IMO Struber will likely move on.
Agree with both of you here, a yes man who won't dare question the owners. Should Struber leave then I do not want to see Murray back in charge.
He’s done that in most games I’ve seen. He slows play down massively at times when we are In good positions. Last night he coupled it with just terrible play.
I said this a few weeks ago on here, and got totally slated which didn’t bother me,and my opinion has not changed.
The good substitution was simoes (who i like), who was totally ineffective. It was a brave decision to start him but i think impact sub for now is best. Imho, he should have come off before styles.
That's because he's not. He's a young lad who's played about 10 games in a **** team - and who's emerged with credit in the majority of them.
GOOD NEWS. That's a brilliant way to handle a situation and a good sho in for the next manager/coach job at Oakwell. BAD NEWS. You might just get it!!
I'm not sure I understand it these days. Whatever happened to wingers? Target men? Midfield generals? Creative midfielders? Defenders who know when to welly it downfield? Centrebacks who can cause damage at set pieces? Free kick specialists? It's as if the game I've loved for the past fifty odd years has been demolished and replaced with a cheap imitation, a cardboard cutout that on the surface looks a bit like football, but in reality is a long, long way from the game I remember.
With proper backing in the transfer window and one or two experienced faces I'd like to say.....Ah forget it.
Thought the problem in the second half particularly was the lack of movement up front , Mowatt and Bahre constantly looking to pass forward but driven sideways, it might be said Brum were well organised defensively but Chaplin and Brown didn’t help
The problem in the second half was that even though styles wasn't having a great game he was actually moving. Bahre was stood still and with mowatt so deep it means there's no outlet
I keep saying it, but I just can't remember the last time I saw Brown get a cross past the 1st defender.
That's why wingers were invented. Football is such a simple game, really, when you do it right. It's when people keep trying to reinvent it that it all goes pear-shaped. I had high hopes for this season. The likes of Wilks and Thomas impressed me when they played against us last season. I expected some exciting play down both flanks. Instead we're constantly trying to force the ball through the eye of a needle in the middle of the park. It's bad enough watching it, I don't know how these young lads feel, being forced to play out of position in a system that clearly isn't working.
No thought Struber got both right. Not that Bahre was any good when he came on, but the hope was he would be.
Hallelujah, football is a pale imitation of the game it was,no passion, fire, people obsessed with formations, statistics. Blimey it's a simple enough sport and why can't players take responsibility during the game? Why do they need a coach to direct them? Modern football is like indoor football, when I was at school, endless passing, nothing above head height ,goalkeeper can't pick the ball up.
Beginning to think struber is an idiot. He now says there is nobody good enough for centre back in out of contract players. Joe ledley, Tommy Smith first 2 that come to mind.
