    I shall enjoy it match by match but without expectation. Enjoyed today much more just seeing it as a Derby match. I can see why the Dee dahs are crying on Praise and grumble, truly dreadful and no chance of the playoffs!

    That’s what makes it so annoying though. Wednesday were truly terrible and reflect the fact that it’s a poor division. It was a great chance to consolidate this season but...

    At the minute only looks like Charlton are a realistic target as they are really on the slide. Until of course they played us. Wigan might catch them and send all 3 of us back down.

    Makes us not getting anything there even worse though. As I've said we re down but hopefully we can put some good performances in ready for next season.

    Agreed however all our best players will no doubt be sold off by our owners and replaced with more random punts and gambles. I fear no automatic rebound from league 1 this time around tbh.

    While coming straight back up is difficult and I agree it will obviously depend on who is actually playing for us come then....
    Its worth noting the promoted teams are in the bottom 4. The other side being Wigan who only came back up the year before I believe?
    The gap between the 2 leagues is getting bigger.

    Good to see you today, enjoyed that game! Always a good sign when we're disappointed with a draw. As you say, we're probably going down, and we know who to blame. But these lads never ever give up, and they gave their all today.

    On that performance, not a clue why Wednesday aren't in the bottom 3. Very poor, getting slaughtered by their fans on social media and on radio. I'd obviously rather be in their position than ours, but it just shows how close to safety we could have been, if we'd had cut out some of the errors.

    We are indeed down. We need to give ourselves a chance next season now. Because having watched Oxford midweek, we'll struggle next season unless we play with pace and a press.
