    Most football clubs are now owned by successful business people. That in itself does not set us apart.

    Unlike ours, most are either investing in their clubs (some highly speculatively) or are local people with an affinity with the club and the locality.

    To date the owners have not delivered on an increase in revenue, despite their supposed connections, the match day ‘experience’ or the quality of the playing squad.

    With another relegation looking increasingly likely I would love to know what you base your optimism on.

    I’ll give you just one example.
    No one believed me about Hecky conversation.
    I said Pinnock, Lindsey, Moore and Thiam were set to leave in the summer.
    I was proved mostly right on that.

    I’ve seen this behaviour before.
    And when they get sat in the same room as the owners these types usually revert to the little shrews that they are.
