Lots of folk on here blaming players when imo it aint there fault......... You cant fault them wanting to play at this level any sportsPERSON would want to play at the top level or the highest level they can....i would have played at this level and got payed double wages aswell... Its the boards fault pure and simple for not fetching players and staff in to step up a division. The board are only here for money and untill they start running at a loss they will carry on fleecing the club.

Maybe a step down a division will make some of our players look better?? Very much like what happened last time and that's probably what the board are thinking too.
I'm not too confident things will repeat themselves though.

I think you are right about it not being the players fault. I think you are wrong about the owners fleecing the club but we can only assume they are only interested in an eventual profit as they haven’t given us any other reason. Im guessing you are also wrong about running at a loss. There was a big drop in income last year. Will be interesting what those accounts say at the end of feb or whenever it
    Is

Like for instance last week's performance against Laegue one Portsmouth.

Exactly, we've taken a massive gamble by not signing players that could have helped us to stay up.
Our squad keeps getting bigger but the quality doesn't change.

Quality over quantity would have been better option plus keeping pinnock etc till january at least . Two solid centre backs req still and had we kept them or signed two , we would be competing and maybe mid table now

Tbf Portstmouth are on an unbeaten run and in the play off places. Still should have competed though. League 1 this year has no mid table you are either challenging for promotion or looking to avoid relegation.

There was an ethos of hard work under Stendel and if this has carried on then I see no reason why things can't improve in league 1, the pace is slower so you have more time to think defensively. This then builds confidence when you are not making as many mistakes and hopefully you can then concentrate on other areas of your play. Take Sibbick for example, dropped to a slightly lower standard and not making as many mistakes and able to make decisions going forward that help the team
Question is, is Struber the right coach for league 1? Is starting all over again the answer?

Not the players fault are you joking, they are paid to do a job. It’s alway the board for me the player should be questioned. When that shirt goes on the passion and commitment should piss out of them..... not seen that this season.

Players have to take some responsibility too. However if you're not good enough right now you're not good enough. It's like cutting the lawn with a push mower when the rest have electric.

By that logic if we signed Athersley Rec's entire XI we should question them. It isn't their fault really is it?

The players that have been brought into the team aren't up to scratch. Blame the recruitment team or owners but can't put much blame on the players.

When we are relegated there will be a difference between fault and blame in my opinion.

A lot of our players are not good enough for the championship - it's not their fault they were signed and you're right any player would take a chance if offered a contract higher up the pyramid.

Making the same mistakes every week - this is their fault but see point one for mitigation. Not getting the basics right however is the fault of the player and some of them need to ask themselves if they could have done more this season.

The whole shambles of a season and two transfer windows - the owners are to blame for the mess we are in. The owners are ultimately to blame for this sh*t-show of a season.

New Signings need to be questioned, Get ride of the deadwood we already have and replace with more deadwood? And this wasn’t down to the board.
