You know the ones I mean, the fast speed ones at the end where they were all chasing wildly around, the music is also appropriate. Best laugh I've had in ages. More to the point, I don't give a damn.
I think the piece of music known as Entrance of The Gladiators is more fitting with our defence this season.
The only defending we do is accidental. Stand on the pitch for long enough and eventually you'll be in the right place at the right time. It's completely unintentional, but with coaching I believe it can be minimised. We're almost there now. I expect that by the next match all of our players will have mastered being in the wrong place for a full 90 minutes.
It’s unbelievable how most of the defence seem to have no knowledge of the art of tackling, the number of times somebody waved a leg with seemingly no confidence was ridiculous. Same way we get lost defending corners
Can remember losing 1-6 v I think v Charlton . I stood and clapped the players off the pitch . They gave their all and Charlton just seemed to touch the ball and it was a goal . Foster had to come out of defence because he was injured and we’d made all our subs. The lads were immense that season and had given their all even in that game . This team aren’t good enough but that’s no excuse for not giving the commitment and everything .
