    edit: of course if we beat charlton and get back within 3 points I reserve the right to hold on to some fake hope and likely be crushed the week after.

    It is more than possible to catch Charlton. Unfortunately the major flaw in our plan to escape relegation is that were are utter gash and couldn't catch a cold.

    To catch Charlton we need them to carry on being poor. They matched Fulham the other day and got a valuable point. Williams and Taylor are back playing so I think their sticky patch may be over.

    To be fair it doesn't matter how poor any other team plays if we can't perform better than a pub team. All we can hope for is that Derby are given a thirty point deduction.

    We were worse than a pub team today. Other than Woodrow's wonder goal, we were as bad a team as I saw under Jim Iley. Those players at least gave everything for the shirt. Today it was a total malaise of players that looked lost. It will be a steep learning curve, as 2 defeats in the next two games & we are as good as down, as far I see the table now.

    no we have to win at Charlton and then they are in the mix, but to win we have to sort the men from the boys and pick 11 that WANT to play for Barnsley
