Hmmmmm, I called it earlier today that Mowatt may be out before we know it. And he’s not in the 11 today.

Perhaps just being rested, he deserves a break in fairness

On the bench, though. Deserves a rest. Nothing to see here....

More than enough in that team to beat a league one side. Chaplin should be well up for playing his team and Woodrow will be glad to starting for the first time in a while.

Looks like a very strong team. Wonder if Sollbauer has the arm band, with Mowatt on the bench.
Pretty sure Mowatt will come on at some stage, maybe a rest will do him good. Competition for places isn't a bad thing an no player
should be a shoe in. Glad to see Oduor back in.

Surely if he was off he wouldn’t be in the squad at all? Resting him for the big game next week I’d say.

Hopefully, He’s too valuable for us to not be playing.

But in recent weeks I can just see Struber preferring other options.

It is cup after all, and I didn’t really expect him to play. But next weekend will be interesting if Odour, Ritzmaier and Cauley are fit.

Showing Woodrow with the armband on the link.

    Agree about Oduor.

I don’t think he’s off mate, I’m just speculating on Struber and his preferred team selection. I’ve got a feeling Mowatt won’t fit into his 11 once everyone is fit and firing.

Like I said I hope he does play because he’s valuable to us.

Not sure giving him the armband straight away is the cleverest move Struber could make, he barely knows his team mates names!

Swapping out Thomas for Mowatt and I’d argue that would be our strongest side (Keepers are very close to call). Bench looks quite well rounded/flexible too.

    Come on reds.

Andersen still not dropped? **** me what does he have to do to be dropped?

Let's hope odour can do the job of two men like he did on our last good run which started with his inclusion and ended with his injury. If the full back doesn't do all mads' work then we're in trouble

Agree, I’d keep it with Mowatt. You’d have thought this new centre back will be a leader vocally whether he has the armband or not.

He is definitely valuable to us, probably our most consistent player. I’d say him and Ritz will fit in just ahead the CDM and Thomas will go out as he’s naturally a winger.
