given a few soft decisions in their favour and none for us so far. Unlike the ref at Bristol who couldn’t wait to help the home team

It’s like watching a team playing with two different sets of rules sometimes. One for other teams and another set for us. Week in week out.

Can't believe some are having a go at the ref!

Because he seems to be giving some poor decisions and they are all in Prestons favour. I think it’s fair to be frustrated with him even though there are worse performers on the pitch in red shirts. Not blaming the ref for the score

A more pertinent question would be why haven't the board / recruitment team addressed the obvious shortcomings in the playing staff at Barnsley FC after 3 weeks of the transfer window and show little sign of doing so in the remaining 10 days.

no use on blaming it on the referee and his staff..... the players are the problem. Not saying they are not trying hard... it's just that they are simply not good enough for this level. If or rather when we go down this squad could bounce straight back, but we all know that come summer the present owners will hold a fire sale and dismantle it again. It's like a soccer version of Groundhog Day.

The referee was ***** mixed in with a lot of inconsistency, however, he was not at fault for the score line or our **** performance

He was cr@p, proper cr@p but he did his job better than any player in red tonight.

Ref let Preston run the game. Can’t blame them for taking advantage of that. Good team.

Because our players are not clever/experienced enough to invite contact and make it look like a foul, at this level...all the other teams are...simples.

Only Wilks was doing it. Again, this is where lack of experience shows.
