Thought he looked decent, but I'm not sure about moving our best player out of the position he's played all season to accommodate him. Unless Mowatt wants to play further forward that is. I didn't think he was as effective personally
Mowatt ended up getting on the score sheet, but I get what you are saying to some extent. I think he's probably put Marcel in a position he is most comfortable in for his debut. With Cauley out it was either play Simoes at the tip of the diamond again, or try someone else. Bahre has been less than useless in that position, so maybe experiment with Mowatt. I think it worked fairly well TBH.
True enough. Be interesting to see what he goes with when Woodrow is fit. If I were moving Mowatt, I'd probably try him at the base of the diamond and move Halme to centre back. I think Alex is more effective with more of the game in front of him.
