    It appeared that McGheehan wrote “Play up Pompey” on the match ball.

    I (along with many others) wondered what significance McGheehan had with Pompey. Wonder if this loan deal has been in the works for a while?

    OR he probably wrote it because Chaplin is a life-long Portsmouth fan and made over 100 appearances for them...
