    This is a very depressing thread. It appears the complainant has been treated very poorly. I don't think this will be the end to this. I hope some of the rapists face justice, but they won't. Most of us know Ched Evans was a rapist for what he did & we give him **** for it. Disappearing down the fire escape of justice. In a country like Cyprus, there is no chance, unless people over here take an interest. Absolutely disgusting verdict. In the words of James Brown, "It's a Man's World".

    Interrogated for several hours with no access to a lawyer. Just one of several very worrying things about this case. Anyone thinking this was a fair verdict and case has not read any details about it. My heart goes out to her and I hope justice is done.

    I was in Cyprus at the time and read all the news reports there, I don't believe for one second that she is guilty of anything other than a bit of stupid naivety however the pressure that immediately came from israel that the cypriot govt folded to is very fishy. The 12 were whisked back to israel almost instantly without time for questioning and then after 8 hours of interrogation by 2 male cops with no lawyer or representative present to help her she changes her plea..... the whole lot stinks of corruption.....
