Bit of a gap opening up now from Stoke who sit 20th having played 25 games to Derby in 19th who have 27 points from 24 games. All others teams down there have played 25 matches. We just need keep going, we got a well earned point today but the shocking start to the season has left us in a right mess and with a mountain to climb. Hopefully the board will back Struber in January so we can push on. On another note, Luton look like they are in freefall. https://www.skysports.com/championship-table
Currently the relegation dogfight looks like being three from four but if we keep going like we have been over the last few weeks then we have every chance of catching a couple more sides.
It looked like a mountain a few weeks ago. Now it's more like a steep hill. Give it few more weeks and, fingers crossed, we'll be able to look down and see a few clubs snowed in at base camp.
Someone always gets sucked into the dogfight from mid-table. Anyone from Reading down is not safe.Plenty of twists and turns yet to come I reckon.
Hopefully Wednesday get dragged into it when the football league deduct them points. Be lovely if it’s about 20
we have had 4 or 5 games earlier in the season where we could have had a point , but we switched off inside the last 10 minute and even stoppage time to concede a point for the draw.... four or 5 extra would not have been a massive jump up the table BUT we could have been 4 or 5 points clear of the drop. It's encouraging to see the defence is tightening up and starting to stop this nonsense. I am very much with hope that because of the toughening up of our defence that we will be ok and draw away from the drop zone.
I’d hate to think it was a battle just involving four Clubs because I wouldn’t fancy our chances. We’ve got a huge hurdle to get over that other Clubs don’t have to face - Our Board and the January Transfer Window.
I'd definitely take 18th or 19th. Take stock and start again next season a little bit wiser and more experienced.
