our form over the last 6 games puts us in 6th place. If we can maintain that form we have a chance. What my concern is the coming January window. It will tell us volumes about the owners. Just that.

I think there could be a clash in January.
Struber today and recently talking about bringing in experience and loans.
And Conway only recently saying the club will stick to its strategy of developing our own young players.
Those two statements can’t be matched together.
IMO - the directors should give Struber what he wants to get him to the summer - and then reassess from there.

If we match our form of the last six games for the next 22 we’ll get another 40 points and end up on 60! Comfortable in the extreme. It would also mean only losing three or four more games all season so not very realistic.

I think we have the potential to get 30 points in the 22 games though and I think that will be enough.

That does mean keeping the first team squad as it is and adding a centre back who isn’t under 22, and a right back, IMO. If they don’t, who knows.

What is your concern about January? you've mentioned this several times but there's no history to back this up.As far as I recall we sold 1 player last January Brad Potts and it took Preston to break there club record to sign him.
You never seem to mention the positives like Woodrow and Mowett signing contract extensions for example.
I have no fear at all about the January window unless a club offers us 20 million for Woodrow and Mowett then we might just see them depart.

Conway said in his recent interview that the strategy could be tweeked in January.Struber as also said that he and the football director (I assue he means the CEO) have already discussed targets.

We have to remember that Conway already thinks we have experience. When he gets asked he always talks about Mowatt and Woodrow having played games there. In the meantime we as fans, many pundits and ex players have different definition of experience. Loans also play a part. In my mind the players i was thinking about with experience are the likes of Matty James who i heard if rumours are true we weren't interested in back in August.
