I said on here I would back the players 100% this season given the situation they've been put in. However it is becoming increasingly difficult to defend players who are making the same stupid mistakes game after game. Some of it isn't even Sunday league standard!
Struber needs to look at our Sunday league for a couple of defenders while January imo because they’ll do a better job than this lot .
It is getting to the point where full criticism of our defence is warranted. They're just not learning and keep making basic errors week after week.
I've come up with a Cunning plan. Baldrick style. Why not sign a Darren Moore~Paul Futcher type experienced player who can direct and organise the less inexperienced ones. Like Futch did with Tiler n Taggart who he nurtured into brilliant players and eventual assets. Read next EyUp & Down. Think this gets a Metatarsal mention.
for 99% of the time it’s not their fault. They make the same mistakes because they aren’t good enough physically, mentally or skilfully. they’ve been asked to do a job most of them are 3 years too early for, some might never be good enough but again it’s not their fault
We’re leaking more than 2 goals per game on average, you are going to win practically no games and draw very few with that kind of defence, no matter how well the midfield and forwards play.
