I normally vote for the party that I believe will be best for both the country and indeed the planet. Hence my membership of the Green party. However, on this occasion I would vote for a deep fried dog turd if I thought it would help get rid of Boris Johnson.

I vote for the party that protects the most vulnerable in society and always will do, even if it has some impact on my financial circumstances. I believe it is morally the right thing to do for me.

Whether you like the leader of a party or not is not the most important thing as they aren’t a President. Look for the policies that most closely match your own views on life. For me, it can only be Labour!

In the past nine years of austerity the top 5% have increased their personal wealth by as much as five fold. The remainder have either 'flat lined' or lost out. Personally I make my decision based on moral and economic factors. Morally I feel obliged to help those less well off than myself, the poorest in society. Economically I agree with the theories of Joseph Stiglitz along the lines of If you were to give a poor working family an extra £100 per week, by whatever means, they would spend it and thus boost the growth. If you were to give Viscount Rothermere (owner of the Daily Mail) an additional £10 million he would not spend it, because to people like him it is about the accumulation of wealth, personal wealth. I hope this helps you make up your mind.

Policies to benefit the masses for me and thats why I support Jeremy Corbyn. I don’t think he’s a brilliant leader and has come up short in a number of areas, but his policies would benefit the majority at the cost of the rich.

I think they're the same thing because I think I'm extremely ordinary. Average job, average house, from an average area, average age, wealth etc.

I believe that (generally speaking) labour tends to have the interests of the average person at heart whilst the conservatives have the interests of the minority but wealthy at heart. I'd like to think that if I was wealthy I wouldn't be so selfish to put my own financial interests ahead of those who need it but honestly I can't say for sure unless I'm put in that position.

What I will say is that Doug what's best for someone doesn't necessarily mean agreeing with them and doing what they want. Growing up I would often ask for a chocolate bar before my dinner but my mum said no because even though it's what I'd asked for she knew it wasn't what was best for me.

Whoever will help the more vulnerable and try and make the country fairer.

Don't worry about the rich as they can look after themselves and always seem to get richer whoever is in power.

Greatest trick the right ever played was convincing anyone outside the very richest they would be better off under the Tories because they have a few more quid in their pocket each month whilst every public service they benefit from every day goes to pieces.

It's better than that - whilst those in the middle aren't better off at all, they've managed to convince plenty of poor people that taking money from rich people is morally wrong, that it's the politics of envy - and it's only us that's standing in the way of us all being super rich.

To be able to convince people on OK incomes that it's poor people who want to rob them whilst billionnaires are taking from us all is a stroke of genius.

All the people I know who are 'comfortably off' will be voting Labour - whilst loads of people who have barely got a pot to piss in will be voting Tory in the hope that when they finally become rich, they will not have to support the unworthy. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so serious.

All parties promise the earth and deliver little, but to me it's a matter of who you trust the most (or least)
Do you trust Boris Johnson to keep his promises?
Do you think he actually cares about the poor/disabled/disadvantaged/working class?
Do you think he's an out and out devious video editing liar?
Do you think he will make the economy stronger and secure millions of jobs?
Do you think he'll lead this country to no deal Brexit if he gets a chance, without thinking of the consequences?
Do you trust him with the NHS?

Do you trust Jeremy Corbyn to keep his promises?
Do you think we'll all get free broadband?
Do you think he'll nationalise the railways and make public transport much better?
Do you think he'll give the country another Brexit vote in light of the now better understood consequences?
Do you trust him with the NHS?

I think they both make promises they won't keep, and both parties are in turmoil over Brexit but who is the most trustworthy person with integrity, honesty and a true believer in helping those less fortunate?

This time I'll vote for the head of the party, not the party

Brilliant. Everyone has an opinion. I posted mine without making any personal insults but your reply is possibly why we in Scotland would prefer to gain independence.
    I despair. :(

I’d prefer to vote for the party I think is best for the country overall. But our voting system means I need to vote for the party which has the best chance of beating the Tories in my constituency. I think both major parties have poor leaders but for different reasons. Boris by far the worst of the 2 though.

I have children with disabilities so I vote based on the long term support and help they will need.

The system is awful, this is the first time in my life I actually feel my vote will mean anything in Banrsley. Even though ironically it is a vote for the Labour party who have held Barnsley all my life, I feel more it's a vote against the Brexit party in Barnsley.
Personally I would be embarrassed if we returned a Brexit party MP here
