    I was literally just composing a thread along the same lines.
    Well before his (well deserved) goal, I commented that he gets better game on game. But today, he gave everything, covered every blade of grass and had an infectious enthusiasm.
    It is often said, when folk take to the BBS to slate individuals, that players might read this. Well, Conor, if you do read this; top, top performance today. Proud of you.

    Wasn’t at boro but you could see from his social media posts (which didn’t seem as much like the normal lip service you see) that it really got to him and today was a direct reaction to it. Good on him.

    Very rarely criticise players on social media. ( might point out their weakness on occasion) I never use the word crap. Doesn’t do their confidence any good. 1 or 2 I wouldn’t have started today. IMHO. But got to say 1 of em has had his best game in the shirt. Top performance by all .my mom amongst many. Mowatt. absolute gem.

    Chaplin obviously puts his heart and soul into every team he plays for. Seems a lovely young man too. I hope he enjoys this win as much as hes hated losing.
