23 from 46 games, set by Rotherham three seasons ago. We will be lucky to get more than 18 points the way we are going. It's an absolute shambles.
Stubbs became manager in June was got rid of in Oct then Jackett came in and last 39 days before Warne took over. Sarnds a bit Familiar.
After we beat West Ham on 6 December 1952 we didn't win another league game all season - 24 games. We then didn't win any of the first 3 the following season so 27 games in total. We've just matched Rotherham's longest sequence of games without a win in 2016/17.
Cheers for that. Only another 11 to go to break it then. Wonder what odds the bookies would offer....it’s a dead cert!
Well I have just worked out that to reach 50 we need 1.46 points per game, so over a season that's a 67 point season. If / when we lose on Saturday, that becomes 1.51 points per game or 70 point season form. So we now need play off form just to reach the target for survival.
Nine points and a goal difference on minus 19.! We have 28 games to play ( 84 points). You might need to get 52 points to avoid the drop, which means we would need to get another 43 points. With the best will in the world, I honestly can't see this team getting that many points between now and May.
