What about 1981 to 2002 (excluding 1997/8 of course)?

    Charlton at home 2-2.
    Derby at home 2-2.
    WBA away 2-2.
    Bristol City at home 2-2.
    Stoke City at home 2-4.
    Blackburn away 3-2.

Six games this season where we've scored more than one goal and we've won zero and only picked up 4 points from a possible 18. Four months in to the season and our defense are still a massive liability that's costing us and shows no sign of improvement. The front half of the team have shown noticeable improvement as at the start of the season goals were very hard to come by. But we cannot keep hoping for the best with the defence. Hopefully in January Struber can use whatever contacts he's got so we can change our whole back four.

Was on about this Setdi. In consecutive matches last week we scored 2 at home and 2 away. 9 outta 10 times you'd expect 4 points at least...... if not 6! We got nil.

Erm... I don't think it works like that anymore. If your names not on the spreadsheet, you're not coming in.

Just wanted to highlight the misery of our most recent short stays in this league. It is very depressing.

I could go on again about how it's about 4 years, or whatever, since we last won a midweek game at Oakwell but there's only so much gloom and despair a body can take !

We won 5 in 2017/18. Notts Forest 2-1, Birmingham 2-0, Sunderland 3-0, Brentford 2-1 and Sheff Utd 3-2.

    Not really, my friend.
Apart from Forest in August the others were SATURDAY games.
    I said originally MIDWEEK.
I'll give you Forest but the rest...... Still, it's an appalling record.

Think the comparison is when we did lose in the 2017/18 campaign, it was entire team that always used to fit into the 'Not trying - Must Do Better' category.

This time around the normal story have been during large parts of many games we have played quite well and should have had summat out of the games.. Then the term individual error keeps cropping up.. I say that's just down to us needing some extra quality right now, necessarily experience but must be quality..

If we can rectify those defensive individual errors with some quality incomings in January and add to that some additional 'Quality' attacking threat, I think we will be able to muster enough points to stay up. It will be a close thing though, but I don't think we have that surrender attitude the team had in 2017/18.
