Been trying to figure out what could go much worse given the average fan’s disappointment at everything from the playing squad to management to ceo performance to results to club communication to match day experience (with the exception of elements organised by the ST). They clearly aren’t interested in a new manager (especially an expensive one) so that isn’t news. They aren’t interested in our relegation. Are they planning on putting a request into the league to relegate us to the conference? Very worrying when you’re told there are terrible things ahead and you can’t even imagine what that could mean.
So someone tweets half a story that anyone could have guessed, without legit media such as Radio Sheffield or Barnsley Chronicle reporting anything and people are now worried. It doesn't take a genius to know we should be worried about what's going on at the club.
Given how Tonge, Stern, Devaney and Hassell were overlooked for caretaker, and that they probably were all bought in to Daniel Stendel's methods, it is not difficult to imagine unrest behind the scenes. That will be all the more so when a failing former lower/non league manager appointed temporarily over their heads is overtraining the players and has not improved results. I could imagine ructions and further departures. Total speculation on my part, of course. But what else have we when the club don't tell us what's going on?
