Diaby - Man mountain. M’Voto tastic
Collins - Theres a brilliant keeper in there. Possibly the best signing of the summer
Sibbick - Poo on a stick. Don’t see what some see in him. Can’t play any position well enough in this division irrespective of where we ask him to play.
Anderson - U15s. He’s like the giant lad at school who would look amazing in a schoolboy game. We are playing professional football in one of the richest leagues in the world.
Halme - Absolutely dog toss. Can’t run, can’t pass and can’t win a header. Not a great start for a centre half.
Thomas - Theres a player in there, against Forest he was immense, next game absolutely pony.
Wilkes - Pub player. Nothing more to be said.
Schmidt - Replacement for the sale Moore. At least the owners have pocketed the £3m difference. Balance sheet looking lovely.
    ODour - Who?
Chaplin - One of the better signings but still not going to score 10 goals in this league. Works hard but not necessarily effective
Radlinger - Thought he looked a decent keeper and good with the ball at his feet. Unfortunate to be injured. Not that he would have made us much stronger than having Collins.

Overall absolutely gash on a stick.

Both keepers are competent enough the jury is well and truly out on the rest.

A tad harsh. Most of those players are capable of having good performances e.g. Halme against Swansea. The biggest problem is that they are all inconsistent, and often too many of them have poor performances at the same time. That's kids for you, I suppose.

I'm not sure its fair to judge as yet... seeing as they are u23 development players being asked to play in the first team way ahead of what they should be.

Odour. Apologies, I was typing with fat fingers on an iPhone wanting to add an apostrophe for some reason. On the 3rd attempt I just thought fcukk it.

Over generous with Wilks. Pub players at least have effort.

There's the problem of giving 4yrar deals.. they're all here for a hell of a long time. Can't move em on, nobody wants em. Can't bring others in until you do.. bit of a log jam.

Agree with most of that. But not having Thomas was immense against forest.

Probably the worst wing play in the final third I’ve ever seen. Did well until he got to the box or had to deliver.

I agree with most of that other than I've not seen the player in Thomas yet. Looks an honest toiler to me.

As things stand I can't disagree with the assessment, as this is the first team squad, less the ones from last season, of whom Mowatt, Brown, G Williams, Cavare & Woodrow have shown they are up to this level.

I think many of these will make decent players & a few will fail. You are being a bit harsh on the players. The fault needs pointing squarely at the board in just adding kids & no mesters.

That’s actually where I point the blame.

I really feel unbelievably sorry for these lads. It’s not their fault but they are professional footballers. They get paid to do this job, so they are in a position to receive negative feedback.

I don’t feel great having to post what I posted. I hope none of them read it.

But it’s a reality that these lads are a million miles away from being good enough, the finger squarely pointed at the board and recruitment.

At some point though, they need to also be accountable. It’s life.

If you turn up to work and don’t perform someone is going to tell you to get your stuff together and leave. You might be lucky enough to have a months notice or maybe longer but you definitely won’t have 4 fcukking years pay for being absolutely gash.

Collectively it's obviously failing, individually in a different scenario with other players who knows?

I think there's room for improvement in them all tbh. And this season in the championship will be a steep learning curve . Maybe just maybe there's tine to go down come up and have another go at the championship before they have to be sold in their last year of their contract
