a game in a #newmanagerbounce period. One win in 16. Great performance and all that but unfortunately league table isn’t based on great performances or nearly winning or good potential or doing well to say it’s a bunch of L1 kids.

*that amazing top of the league Swansea side (who were total garbage at Oakwell) just got absolutely battered tonight by Brentford.

2 games ago we were as good as down it seemed, now after 2 very well earned points we seem to have something about us again.

We'll play some far weaker teams than Swansea and West Brom and if we can replicate the past 2 performances I think we'll pick up some wins.

Who knows if it will be enough but I'm far more confident than I was after the Preston game

Three games in a week with players carrying niggles and/or just coming back from injuries so not yet fully fit. Therefore 1 change in the starting line up and 1 sub baffled me. Murray didn't use his squad as well as he could have. Before the game of course I would have taken a point. Two up in the last quarter of the game it should feel like two points dropped and be disappointing.

We can't keep making excuses that a team is higher in the league, on more money, bogey side, form side or whatever else. We have to start winning soon because our players have forgotten what it feels like.

Exactly this! This isn’t a go at AM who has done really well and it isn’t a go at the players who are playing to the capability and experience! This is a go at the owners for deliberately taking us down. If we had Pinnock and Lindsay tonight we’d have won this one and last week

Well, clearly most of the league are far weaker than both Swansea and West Brom?

Huddersfield, Stoke, Wigan, Reading, Hull, Milwall for starters

Agree we have to start winning games, but surely we have got to be reasonably happy
that we have taken a point from two of the best resourced teams in the division re-Swansea
    and West Brom.?

After tonight's result, going forward, I feel more optimistic and hope that we can take points
from some of the weaker teams and hopefully end the campaign outside the dreaded drop zone.

Check out the league table. It suggests that the 23 teams below West Brom are 'weaker' at present. I have no doubt West Brom will be up there or thereabouts come May. Sure, it's disappointing to draw after being 2-0 up, but who could have anticipated taking a draw tonight before kick off? Not many I would wager. Maybe we should appreciate the point and kick on from now..

What planet are you on. Lindsay at least isn’t as good as Diaby. Anderson or Halme. and all three given a few more games under their belt will be more than capable of outshining Pinnock. In fact Diaby licks him hands down.

Absolutely not. Lindsay had more mistakes in him than parson preached and we are infinitely better jn the air now than under those 2.

They are in a lower league position but in the same league and I don't think there is that much between most sides in the league. Probably two thirds don't have much between them ability wise.

I’m not basing it off Stoke form I’m basing it off how he played for us in the championship and league one. The defenders we have here now are the worst I can remember for a long time

To be fair i reckon a pinnock and diaby partnership would have been pretty solid.

Anyone who thinks are current defenders are anywhere near the partnership that Lindsay and Pinnock developed last season is floating off with the clouds. How they play for other clubs Is irrelevant. We heave gone from a solid back line to one more porous than Spongebob.

Can only be based on opinions Jimmy and I know we (including myself) wouldn't be shaken off our views. One thing we have to agree on though is that we'll never know, as Pinnock and Lindsay didn't have chance to develop in the championship. But it is my strong belief that given the weaknesses in div 1, Lindsay at least would/will be found out wanting to a degree. As I say this is not an attack on Lindsay. Just my belief of his ability to perform at this level.
