    Agreed. I think the general consensus was that we'd definitely have stayed up if both he and Mcburnie had been around all season.

    One helluva strike. 71mph according to MOTD, enough to brake Hendersons hand.

    He'll go far Barnes, hes working under a decent manager with good experienced heada around him.

    Amazing what abit of experience can do for a young player.

    People slagged Barnes off? I’m sure most could see the talent he had. Don’t get me wrong he had some learning experiences here where he wasn’t the full article as he is today but who does go to lower leagues and perform like premier league players?

    What I remember is how annoyed folk were with Leicester when they recalled him, I think we would’ve stayed in the champ if he stayed.

    they’ve stayed away from loans because they can’t sell loan players. But that’s another story

    enjoyed watching Harvey Barnes for us, he could become a really good premier league player very soon.

    I remember rating Harvey Barnes enough to think he will play for England one day and I still think that.

    He was highly thought of and even more so when he was recalled and our form suffered. He's one of our most popular loans.

    This is true, I can imagine this forum will be split down the middle when debating this topic mind.


    scoring at that dump down the road always helps with stuff like that like, and it was a worldie. Another fixture there where we should’ve got all 3 points but fortunately came away with one. Their goal that day too, typical of what we get at hillsbrough. Their lad shot with his right hit his left and lobbed Davo.

    I'd love to see Harvey Barnes, Mcburnie, Shotton, Nyatanga (whilst on loan), Dickinson, Drinkwater and Halfreddson type players sign for us.

    I'd also like a bog seat made of gold. It isn't going to happen anytime soon baby. Enjoy em' while you can.

    I remember people on here were critical of Ryan Kent during and after his loan spell from Liverpool but I didn't think anyone had a bad word to say about Harvey Barnes.

    Love the Leicester result. No fan of them as a club for their past money worries but a fan of them knocking our Old Trafford defeat one more place down the list of biggest ever premier league defeats.
