    Read it this morning - this whole episode in numbers! Excellent effort by Doug O'Kane, who is to be commended for his independent reporting on the club. Not the easy road to take, but one with integrity.

    Yes we need a statement about the initial statement. Then we need another statement stating the reason for the delay to that statement. Then we need a later statement apologising for the lateness of the statement.

    Personally I found it a little sycophantic. A decently written piece but, for me, clearly written to curry favour with the fans/readers of the paper. One sided, no attempt made to contact the board by the looks of it. Like many comments I've read on here I respect the writing but I'm not any more educated on the 'separation' than I was before.

    Curious journos who often get snippets haven’t posted anything for days. I’d expect journos are getting flat refusals on media comment, and hence the only view he can give is the one he has.

    The dam will burst at some point I’m sure. Whether controlled or pressured, who can tell.
