In this league then they should look to sell us on as soon as possible as what they’re doing is slowly killing support for this club. Massive mystery why they bought us tbh, all the talk of generating revenue internationally when they came two years since has amounted to absolutely nothing. They’ve let some of our best players who were all still well under contract go for championship brass tacks and filled the gaps with complete punts who haven’t played together. The whole ideology is barmy in the extreme to me.
Don't forget that Times Square advert. It helped us secure our kit sponsorship. From that company from Mapp.
oh yes! That was a massive coup your right! Thought this lot were internationally successful business people? It’s definitely not showing
I can't see there being much of a queue if the club were put up for sale. There has been a lot of hype at the last transfer window, which in reality has turned out underwhelming, to say the least, so far. I think that most supporters are in it for the long haul. I think we need to stick with our currrent owners of a while longer. It is however, very disappointing to find us where we were 2 seasons ago, seemingly without the experience and quality of players to get us out of this predicament. What is the alternative? New York, Keepmoat, Bramhall Lane, Hillsborough, Elland Road? For most of us it is Oakwell or nothing. CORY
There is none sadly but I think your incorrect that we’re where we were 2 seasons ago, we are far far worse than that side currently and I believe it could be a very embarrassing relegation indeed this time to which we won’t mount a successful campaign in league one from next season. The owners have regressed us years I’m guessing by their ignorant, arrogant and at best naive approach to this season. Without changing this crackpot plan significantly we’ve gone one step forwards and four back.
You could very well be right. I hope not. We will have to wait ain't until January to find out if the owners are willing to change their approach. I hope so but as you say it may well be to late by then to make up the ground needed to stay up.
If the board don't stop being so stubborn we will be down with a championship record low points total and will have a Newcastle/Ashley situation on our hands for next season.
