Adjustment needed as an absolute minimum.

If modified counts as ditched, then yes.

The fundamental plan is a good one as a general policy but not an absolute dogma. They need to consider that the value a player adds is not just resale value but the value attached to keeping us in this league.

Every signing shouldn't be based on potential profit. Loans for better players who we wouldn't be able to afford should be available.

No the plan is our way forward but it has to be tweaked and allow established players maybe one or two loans etc .
But all in all the plan as you call it has to be our main source of recruitment , it has to be better etc but it should stay .
Also the coach has to play to our strengths and our strength isn’t all out attack with players that that get blown off the ball so easy or give it to the opposition .
Players I thought would step up eventually after a few games havnt done so and it’s a bit frustrating tbh.

Not scrapped just adjusted to accommodate 2 or 3 players with experience

Needs to be amended, we should allow at least 5 players in core positions be over 27. You need a spine of experience, who set the example and share the vision of the club. Good professionals who players look up to.

96/97 team, Thompson Davis,, Redfearn, Hendrie and Wilko. With younger players coming in.

Brian Clough stuck with that same principle during the 70s and 80s he did alright. Always had a big lad up top and played the game at high tempo, good football and kept it simple.

The games not changed, it's just the high paid analysts make it sound like it as. Everyone just follows the trend, at present usually set out by Pep Guardiola.

You can still win with good wingers who can cross and defenders who defend.

Lets be honest the plan has worked well regarding getting us out of L1 and recouping money for players. So keep the bits that work.

Turning back on experience and loanees, holding on to players who are cogs in the wheel is needed. If players see Preston, Stoke Reserves, Millwall, Wigan et al as steps up then the current plan will get worse as the environment and player ambition outgrows ours. But sustainability of the club is only of value of people want to go watch
