When's he going to face someone that's actually any good, to see how good he might be? He can't be far off getting in with the likes of Price and Chisora at the very least.

He fought Gorman in his last fight who was an undefeated prospect & he was only a slight bookies favourite in that so they aren’t scared of testing him.

Think tonight was all about sweeping up the belts. He’s now got British & Commonwealth.

There’s pretty much no chance Price or Chisora would fight him as the odds are they’d get battered but more importantly they’re with Matchroom who aren’t going to let them fight Frank Warren’s best prospect when they’re chief support on Sky PPV cards.

I think they’ll struggle to get him opponents, I don’t see why anyone would risk fighting him when they can take easier fights for much bigger money.

That’s extremely harsh to say he needs to step it up in my opinion. The guy is still learning his trade, he’s a young lad with very minimal amateur experience. I do think he should be on undercards to big shows and build that profile like AJ did. But the problem is BT don’t put on many big draw shows like sky used to.

Onto his professional career, his record is pretty stacked for a novice who’s had 13 fights. He fought Tom Little in his 8th fight I believe, now Little isn’t any mug you have to be decent to beat him with so little experience and he did comfortably. Then followed that up by fighting the experienced operator in Kevin Johnson, all be it he didn’t manage to get the stoppage in that fight but he showed us all he has the potential of having a world class jab. Which since that fight his jab has been brilliant and is the tool that will probably win him a world title one day.

The biggest win on his record was 2 month ago against Gorman, I honestly couldn’t see Dubois winning this I thought it was too early for him to go against his style and fight a better boxer than he is. He proved me and many wrong that night, Infact he even out boxed Gorman and made him look a little silly at times.

Dubois doesn’t need to be rushed, I don’t want to see him get beat by a Chisora or someone to that level just yet it’ll be a waste of what could be one of the better British heavyweights of our generation. Let him learn his trade move him up steadily. He ideally wants to get 20 fights before moving out of the European level.

Lucas Brown could be a good one next for his profile.

That sadly is the problem with boxing. It's fights we need to see and as you say probably won't. He's not going to face Wilder, Joshua or Tyson Fury anytime soon. He's not even at the level to face a Parker or Povetkin type as he's only young. But it would be good to see him in some known name domestic fights. Hughie Fury would be another name.

There was talk of him fighting Joyce but he’d destroy JJ imho who is just a heavy legged walking target for someone quick and who has power, so I can see JJ ducking him.

The problem heavy weights have is there isn’t many of them any good and the difference between the top 10 and the rest is significant. He’s better smashing a few bums for the next 12 months and then aiming for a Povetkin etc.

It’s too early yet for that but I can’t see anyone below that causing him any trouble at all.

No way JJ ducks Dubois. He might be slow and heavy legged, but he isn't afraid of facing anyone. Two of his last three rights were Stiverne and Jennings, both of which eclipse anyone on Dubois' record.

Adam Booth and the rest of his team would take that fight tomorrow. He's got a granite chin and can bang, so despite his flaws is a match for most fighters right now. He's also still learning the pro game, despite not being a young pro, so will get better.

Bang on. All I hear about Joyce is how limited he is but people have said the same for years & he keeps winning.

He should be a current Olympic gold medalist as he beat Yoka clearly & he’s regularly competed with & beat the best amateurs on the planet.

Haven't seen the interview myself but Paul Dempsey took a lot of hammer on Twitter today about his questioning of Joyce on BT Sports last night. And by questioning I mean interrogating him in the interview.

I like Joyce vs Dubois. I don't see it getting made but not because Joe won't fancy it, like you say, he will fight anyone. He's hugely underrated. The man has unreal stamina and can take massive punches. I'd fancy him to beat Dubois. I need to see Daniel hurt before I make my mind up. He's a very promising puncher and I'm not sleeping on him, but he's not really been tested. Joyce would put him under serious fire.
