Bitterly disappointed at the result

But thought the overall display was much improved from the first half against Luton, as well as the Wednesday, Birmingham & Carlisle performances. Against probably the best team in the Division, I thought we more than held our own and forced the Leeds goalie into a number of impressive saves. Until we gave away a totally unnecessary free kick leading to their first goal, I thought the game would finish in a very entertaining 0-0 draw, with us picking up a much deserved point.
If we can keep those standards up on a regular basis, alongside us finishing more of the chances we create, then I believe we can begin to move up the table.
After the match, we spent a good few minutes having a pleasant chat with ex Leeds player Noel Whelan. He was very complementary about our team and admitted that he couldn't see Leeds getting a goal, until Nketiah came on.
Good to see Sibbick getting MOTM, but I was also pleased to see both Woodrow and Brown back in the starting line up.

Very much the conversation that was had in the car on our way home that. They just had that extra quality, to be fair to them, I've not seen a side have such a good first touch for a long time, and at this level it makes such a difference.

Disappointed with the result but quite impressed with the performance, looks like we've made good use of the two week break. Completely agree with your point that it should give us heart for the months ahead, pick up the odd point against the better sides with a bit of luck and win our fair share of matches against our likely rivals.

Defeat is defeat, but the difference between this game and the Luton match is off the scale.

Agreed. Encouraged by the performance, frustrated at not scoring again. That's now 5 blanks from 8 league and cup games.

Pressed well today - keep that up & we’ll do fine. In recent matches (except Wigan), we’ve created little or nothing with a poor final 3rd ball - although we didn’t score, we created numerous chances - keep that up & goals will follow

It's a big worry for me that, just the 4 goals scored isn't it?
