If you read the article, then quite clearly thats not true. Obviously got more votes than anyone else so well done to him, but to win POTM with just 31% probably shows that he was possibly considered not as bad as his team mates
I'd have probley said bambo diaby, or maybe cavare he had a excellent game against fulham and another against wigan so 2 potential motm performances from only 3 starts. But no one really stood out tbh.
Not sure it’s much of an accolade to be the best player of last month. I’d genuinely struggle to pick somebody and give a convincing argument for them.
A goal and an assist for a 20 year old kid in his first 6 games at the level plus his England call up is probably why he won. I personally voted for Diaby but nobody really looked head and shoulders the best. We could do with one or two really coming to the front this month. Missing Woodrow and Mowatt for three games wasn’t helpful.
In 2 replies of 16 on this thread he got some support, thanks to TrueRe92, and tintwhistle tyke I wonder what he thinks of the fans whose team he plays for? He must be disappointed at the less than complimentary reaction to his award. He does his best and like the rest of the team he is inexperienced at this level, he is learning within this small squad, small club in the championship, with a small fanbase, small budget, so any recognition for any of these players should be applauded and encouraged. Really disappointed myself to read some of the comments. No wonder when criticised players develop into much better players at Oakwell, but take off at the first opportunity...then we can't understand that at all can we?
I like him and think he’s been far better then what the majority on here will give him credit for. Well done Luke, keep it up!
He’s done ok. I’d say the BBS version is more accurate. None of our attacking players have been outstanding though there is clearly promise there.
