It’s a partnership with the club Jay. We’ve worked pretty had on our aspect of it and invested a fair bit but there are a lot of people involved and Andy Clarke at the club has really driven it forward with support from Rob Zuck. Kieran who was on stage today singing has been involved in sorting out the acts and PA etc. There’s a separate gin and proseco bar. The stadium caterers have provided the food vans, ice cream etc and the molson bar. Dave Cooper provides his time compering as well as the reds reports doing there bit every week.

We plan to reinvest money made in the Redfearn’s bar on making it better etc. There are more plans being talked about so can only think it will go from strength to strength. Obviously making it work when the weather turns is something we’ll be working on in the short term.

An awful lot of the regulars from Redfearn’s have come down and supported us in the Fan Zone too so that’s obviously helped.

So on the whole it’s the volunteers. What’s going to happen when winter comes around. I.e. any game from sept onwards? Still outside?

Well done to all volunteers. I don’t understand why this isn’t fully paid for by the club though

How you going to deal with the change in weather? I'm guessing it was fantastic today, but what about a Tuesday night in February? Not chucking cold water on the project, just wondering.

Reckon he could do a job for us - got about as much experience compared to the rest of the team!

I saw an interesting stat that said Luton’s squad had twice as many minutes Championship experience playing for Barnsley, than all our squad had Championship experience full stop.

Seems like madness that anyone would put such a squad together for a Championship campaign doesn't it.

This is what you saw I believe...

Number of Championship games for Barnsley played by Luton’s 18-man squad: 208.
Number of Championship games for Barnsley played by Barnsley’s 18-man squad: 98.

It does. I’ve been trying so hard to have hope and optimism despite recent results, but today has knocked the stuffing out of me. It was humiliating in the first half and I really don’t know how this squad can recover from these periodic thrashings. I just don’t know what to think at the moment.

Thought he had very good answers, the feeder club comment was funny. Can't believe the owners were being criticized today because we lost to Luton.. Patrick Cryne would get a lot of abuse on here also after any defeat.
