    YT you can abstain
    Our coach wanted experience
We all knew his strengths and weaknesses.
    But didn't fit the spreadsheet.
However, another example of "breaking the mould"

Does not matter what we think.

Personally I wouldn't have and clearly the board wouldn't have.

I wouldn't take him back. Not saying I dont like the lad because when I worked at the club he was a cracking lad, very polite and an all round nice guy. However I dont think hes a "leader" either, what we need is John Macken type player who can quide these younger players through those ten minute tough spells you get in a game. We seem to collapse and panic during these spells, whereas an experienced head will know how to play out that spell of pressure.

So he's better than what we have but you wouldn't have him? Interesting take...

I was disappointed we didn't go for him on a free, I think he's a quality player, put him in Bahre's position and I'm sure we'd be a better side.

Unquestionably. The need for a player with a good degree of championship experience was showing pretty badly today and in a hypothetical situation where we could get him on a free - I'd take it
however that first half thrashing would not have been prevented in the slightest

No he had a poor game and was gifted a goal with poor keeping. Was waving and blowing kisses at the East Stand after his goal too.

    Yes.

I even think we could have made a profit on him, for what that's worth (which is, apparently, everything).

It just feels like we need at least 6 players to cope in this league of championship quality :(

Yes he’s a quality player who controlled the first half. A much better midfielder than anyone we have at the club.

I would’ve taken him back but no one even mentions him because they know we won’t be interested in a player of his age.

He was excellent today, I can’t remember him giving the ball away. He’s proof that pace isn’t everything, has that knack of always reading the bounce & been in the right place at the right time.

I would’ve taken Cranie as well.

There’s probably a few others with experience I would’ve taken as well but I don’t pay as much attention to players who’ve not played for us.

Even Adam Jackson, could we not have kept him here? Was decent in the championship previously & would’ve at least prevented a complete upheaval at the back. I’m pretty sure we would’ve known Lindsay & Pinnock wanted out before the end of last season. He’s no world beater but he’s capable of doing a job

I don’t usually detract from a team that’s won 3-1 and give them credit .
But what I saw today was us cave in to a fellow (if we carry on playing like that) relegation battlers.
For all they were today and punished us and could have had more in first half I didn’t see one player I would take over ours .
Even though they punished every mistake or half hearted attempt at winning the ball or protecting it I still think they’ll struggle .
I could see why they have been getting beat in their other games , not sour grapes just reality we’ve been beat by two teams that imo will struggle .
Birmingham May shade more games with the experience they have in their side but they’ll struggle on Tuesdays performance but Luton imo will go down .

    100%.
Ran the first half as they smashed us to bits.
    Great little player.
