    Like I said.
I was in the shop on Friday - and 2 guys (separately) that I know stood at the shop door and walked away because of the chaos and queue in the shop.
    Both were after Wednesday tickets.
So I would imagine there’s still a sizeable number of supporters that haven’t got their tickets yet.

    I’m still thinking about going.
It’s such a dull place to go though - stuck in the middle of all those rows of terrace houses and factories etc with no proper town centre to have a drink anywhere near it.
    Horrible place.
Which can’t be said of Sheffield United.

Agree with that for sure. Bramall Lane is a cracking ground, very well located. Hillsborough, on the other hand....

I fancy it. If the Reds can deliver another performance like Saturday, then it'll be a bargain.
I do appreciate the principle though..:)

If I was in the country, I think I'd struggle to stay away after Saturday's performance.

Kelham Island has every kind of real ale pub or wine bar you could wish for. Short hop on the bus/ tram to the ground, or a 35 minute walk.

For every person I know going to this game, I know 4 that are refusing due to the price. We'd have easily cleared 4.5k if the prices had been reasonable.

And the rest. We took 5,500 when we drew 2-2 10 years ago.

Agree that Kelham Island is absolutely excellent, but it's still not particularly close, plus I'm assuming the traffic would be quite heavy. For anyone coming in by train though, it's a reasonable stop off point on the way to the ground.

As for the attendance - I was just thinking exactly the same myself. Even at £30 I reckon we'd have sold in excess of 4000.

It's a shame Wadsley Bridge station isn't still operational. There were some epic journeys there on the football special. Epic not least because of the circuitous routes they sometimes took.

Barrack Tavern and Gardeners are not too far away by foot.

To be fair, nobody organised an actual protest. As far as I can see, a number of people have posted online that they aren't going. I suspect some of which wouldn't have gone anyway.

Its not that far, mile, mile and a half maybe? I used to live fairly close to the ground and never once made it into a pub round there.

I thought we never sold out the away end? Well, according to Wenzdi fans anyway. Or will it be our 'cup final' now we have? Can't wait for Wilks to s**thouse/Cavare to smash them off the park.

I lived not a million miles away from there too, but barring some new flats which had been built and the Fat Cat, Kelham Island was generally populated by hookers and people who'd got lost when falling out of Caeser's Palace on The Wicker. This was about 15 years ago mind,
