    I hope he does get his chance in the first team and becomes their regular keeper. I don't know about popular opinion but I wish him all the best - overall he was a very good keeper for us.

    I will never be in the position of being a pro footballer but if I ever had been I honestly would rather be on less money and play every week than pick up loads of money and never play. Each to their own I guess

    I wouldn’t be too harsh on him. He may have been promised first team football or told Butland was going. Sad to see him not in the squad

    His agent wants sacking if so.

    Stoke are linked with a move for Kevin Long. At least Lindsay can keep Davies company on the bench, if they manage to make it on there.

    probably put 3rd choice on bench, gk's are rarely subbed due to tactical decisions and with the 2nd choice playing u23s
    thus trying to keep all 3 on their toes

    I wish Davies all the best. He’s obviously gone for the money but so what, he does right, we’re not talking the difference between 80 and 90k a week but amounts that are life changing

    I'm not that bothered about either as they no longer represent BFC. Davies was brilliant last season but his last attempt in the championship was a disaster. He can't be too fussed about the Welsh national team if he's happy to be 2nd / 3rd choice at Stoke.
