Nothing on Test Match game we played as kids - classic! We filled the scorecards and everything - spent days at a time playing it :)

Yes I had it as a kid. My cousin was Cricket mad, but sadly couldn't play himself because he
had really bad asthma. He got a set of the game at the same time as I did and we used to get together
either at his house or mine and using Wisden, we would pick a Test Match and attempt to replay
it although the result was different.

He took it more seriously than I did. I recall he used to turn up with pencils, a sharpener, a rubber
and a proper Cricket scoring book, in which he recorded every run and wicket. It was good fun and
helped to pass the hours during the holidays, plus it was good for him to have some company.

He was older than I was and remember he took me to my first ever Test Match at the Oval between
    England and South Africa.

I think there's a set of my Dad's somewhere in the house, not seen it for years. Used to play it a lot. But as a kid who got into cricket in the 80s by watching the 1981 Ashes series on the BBC, I'd go along with @LiverpoolRed and say that Test Match was brilliant. Even had my mother ironing the outfield.

I had a Subbuteo Cricket back in the 70’s it was ok but not as good as the football one. I also made my own Ozthat on afternoon in Metalwork with a bit of Hexagonal bar a saw set of punches and a file. Would have been better if I had rounded the corners on a laithe though
